Making a run for the GPA.
I met some fucking oddball woman at a party who spent the first thirty minutes talking about having swum the channel, and was introduced to me as such. I love talking to people about that sort of genuine hard core challenge. Her story began to fall apart as I questioned her before she grudgingly revealed she had actually swum it as one aof a six person relay. Jesus wept. It’s like jogging the first 5k of the Dublin city marathon, and telling all and sundry about your successful marathon running career. Wtf is up with these people.
