Niall Breslin - Carrying the hopes of a nation

No thanks. A load of cunts who think they are in the UFC…plus, it’s fairly limited to grappling in most clubs… It’s not till you move up to proper caged fights that there’s full on contact… AFAIK.

There are a good few jiu-jitsu spots in Cork. You’d probably get more out of it.

Serious grappling going on with Geezer the other night, bizarre behaviour for a grown man to be getting involved in.

A man well into his forties too. Although it was the first time I’d ever seen McGeeney actually enjoying himself. Weirdo.

You could almost read something into that if you were inclined.

I realise this is going to sound like a lad down the pub told me…but A lad I know who is in a post grad course with a former classmate of Bressie reckons the Mental health thing is a complete fad. The classmate doesn’t buy it anyway nor do any of his friends, in their experience Bressie was never depressed or even close to it.

It sounds to me like he had a few bad days in a row and has made a cottage industry out of it. He charges a fortune to give pep talks on mental health too. The greater good and raising awareness my arse.

@TreatyStones has pulled a few of his contradictions earlier in this thread where Bressie mentions his first anxiety attack taking place on The Voice but has now pulled up all sorts of issues from his youth and teen years as the lie has grown bigger.

Sure we know that, that’s what the entire thread is about.

I didn’t have the energy to tell him…what the Fuck did he think we were talking about?

@Keith_Houchen knew

I suppose if you read this thread in a non sarcastic way you might think we were all big fans of his praising his every move :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Sssshhhhh.

Bressie was speaking as an ambassador for Electric Ireland, whose research has found that 94% of Irish people believe playing sport positively impacts a person’s life.

What a finding :smile:

Will anyone ever call him out tho? It would probably work to his advantage if they did…all the screaming Marys would jump to his defence.

He’d get another seminar out of how it made him stronger.
