Conor Cusack seems to consider himself the authority on mental health. Fair dues to him for whatever work he is no doubt doing in this area but comparing a GAA coach telling a group of 9 year olds to stop crying after losing a match to male suicide is ridiculous and mind boggling in equal measure.
Like someone just learning to drive being advised of the number of people killed in road accidents every year. Totally dumb comparison.
Being cynical you could say Conor likes being in the public limelight.

I find it funny Sweeney attempting to link Conor’s reaction to Donal Og’s yet doesn’t see anything in rowing in behind his Sindo buddy’s pathetic article.
I wonder if he’ll go for a nuanced / softly softly approach or whether he’ll actually be flaunting his wares with a merchandise section on the website along with details of how to book him for events.

Maybe I am cynical but a large part of me thinks that all the new healthy eating, healthy living , exercise, mental Heath advocates are or will be looking to monetise their profile, website, social media accounts. Nothing wrong with it per se but I think people who gain social capital on back of what are on face of it good causes do deserve an extra level of scrutiny and cynicism about their motives. Is it wrong to build a profile on the back of a not for profit or is it a legitimate quid pro quo?
