I would say those are very easy accusations to throw out at anybody working or researching or writing/broadcasting in that field.
No heās a fraud, itās been proven on here.
Thereās no response to that
Itās been well documented
You canāt be an advocate for depression and like a pound note any moreš

Now thereās a persecution complex. The bully turning it on someone else. Textbook.
Generally, yes.
Thereās clearly mental illnesses that have been studied by scientists for decades and even a couple of centuries in some instances. These are distinct from 'mental health ā
How do you define mental health? How is it measured? How is it diagnosed?
I think @farmerinthecity has a very valid point here. Life is suffering. Life is about loss and hardship - this is a fundamental truth about life. In-between the hardship you try find moments of happiness and meaning.
What mental health advocates largely want to do is deny the reality of life. They want to take the discomfort out of every single situation when this is at odds with reality. If anything, this causes far more distress. 97.8% of what we call mental health issues are a lack of resilience. Resilience is built through hardship, not denying hardship exists.
We all get down. We all suffer a bit of anxiety. Its called living⦠most of our parents grew up in very tough times with little abundance and they were a far happier generation then the current lot who have everything. One had to be resilient the other has little to no resilience.
Thats not to say that generation didnāt have issues and we can all certainly talk a bit more but it seems the more we embrace the therapeutic, the unhappier we are as a society. Largely because a therapeutic society is about validating the individual - something that again is at odds with the reality of life.
Heās a grifter. Heās selling magic beans
I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt at the start, even when @TreatyStones figured him out I said fuck it, heās making a few bob Shur let him at it and he can fuck off.
But heās doubled down
And doubled down
He is the worst kind of conman and a proper dangerous bastard. I wonder how he sleeps at night, Iād say itās pretty grim inside that head
In terms of Breslin, he has built his gimmick around ābreaking the stigma around mental healthā.
In my opinion there is no stigma there. People have dealt with things for generations - it is doing them a disservice to suggest mental health have been stigmatised.
Itās making a problem that may not be actually there in the first place.
By all means let people seek out help if they need it but donāt fall for this charlatan who has lied about his own mental health battle.
So is the trouble with you Americans. You expect nothing bad ever to happen, when the rest of the World expects only bad to happen. And theyāre not disappointed. You have everything! And still you complain. You lie in couches, and bitch to a psychiatrist. Youāve got too much time to think about yourselves.
The cousin with the one leg
Your reasoning here in nonsense. People have had cancer for generations. If we start treating it is doing them a disservice?
What?
Heās doing it again
Cancer is a measurable disease. Not a social contagion like the therapeutic and offshoots of it like mental health
