As someone who is involved in coaching kids i am curious as to how you can tell how good or interested a lad is going to be as an eighteen year old by watching him ploughing around the place at under 12?
If you could pass on this insight it would be a huge help.
The amount of times i have seen weak lads progress to be excellent players as teenagers while those who dominated the smaller groups fall by the wayside is striking.
the reason that there are less dubs on the team is because country lads are playing the game in their spare time when the hurling or football is finished. Now that the skinny moustaches reared on a diet of chips and batter burgers don`t have the sport to themsleves they are finding it hard to make teams

Surprising that Dublin are so strong in GAA then considering this diet they all seem to be on according to you. A very ill informed post. Difficult to know what to make of the original paragraph as a result of such a poorly thought out finale to a post.

wrong on almost every level
to be honest I doubt if any parent would let you train their kids
Scumbags like he’s talking about don’t play GAA (except for the few from Cork).
Scum play soccer, average joe’s play GAA, and doctors & solicitors talk about rugby.
I doubt anyone could be dumb, backward and inbred enough to believe that to be true.
Yes, he played GGA in Wicklow. His clubmates described him as a regular guy and under no circumstances would they have thought he was a murdering rapist. Mickey Harte recently came out and said that he believes the media are giving him a hard time.

Some GGA player in Tyrone killed his dad recently. Mickey Harte stood by him as he went to the funeral.
The Runt knows the score here-you go down to your local GAA pitch and it is mainly sound lads who are just your average joe playing ball and getting on with life. Go to your local soccer pitch(if you dare) and it is mainly lower class folk playing-not saying they are all scumbags but there would be a good mix of scumbags and then decent honest to goodness casual labourer types like TASE and Fran.
