My sister said some lad was crying for his mother in the dock. Denied bail a few of them. They are going to have the book thrown at them just to make an example, where what should happen is the instigators like farage should be locked up good and proper, and the simpletons, of which there are undoubtedly a good few should be educated. Locking some misled fool up for 5 years in strangeways for getting caught up in a mob, whilst farage, braver man, Patel , Anderson and co who built the bonfire slink away is all kinds of wrong. Hateful people.
Iām never a believer in making an example of someone. Itās not justice.

You have some strange takes sometimes. As far as I can see these people were part of a mob that committed attempted murder. Braverman and Farage etc are ghoulish, but lynch mobs are pretty serious shit.
If the lads out in coolock had their heads cracked and were in front of court and being refused bail the next day, and swiftly facing into healthy sentences, Iād say the rest of the crowd might quietly decide to stay at home from the rioting the next day.

brits with another batch of tough sentences today. Not just for taking part in the riots/disorder, like this wan, but folk getting jailed for incitement for online threats.

One lad in Northampton got 38 months for calling on folk to burn down a hotel housing asylum seekers on his Twitter or Facebook. Some people replied and said heād want to be careful saying things like that & he tagged the cops in his next reply & said theyād do nothing. They called to his house the next morning & arrested him, overnight in the cells & into court the next morning for sentencing. Oooffttt.
