It sounds like the suspect was unarmed and it was shots from the police which caused the injuries.

Apparently they thought he was wearing a bomb vest and was trying to enter the synagogue, so I would think following protocol to avoid a mass casualty event. Too bad cops weren’t more alert in Manchester in 2017 and confronted Slaman Abedi before he killed 22 and maimed hundreds. Would you have been uncomfortable with cops shooting him before he detonated his device?
