November Rugby Internationals (On the sesh with the Goys)

There’s some of us here who just get it

I think both Clarkson and Prendergast did well and we should be seeing a lot more of them, Osborne was also good when he came on.

And a bit of paddy Cullen scampering back to the goals from mikey sheehy.

Osbourne was very good. He should start v Australia.

Depending on next weekend I’d give Calvin Nash a
Start too. James Lowe has been very poor. Whatever pace he had is gone too.

Players aren’t playing for Faz. They and him have checked out with Lions gig on the horizon

I’ve caused some meltdowns on here in my time but four posts in a row followed by posting links to legislation from a guy attending an international rugby game has to top them all.

The lack of wheels among the wingers is a worry
.
However 2 debuts this evening, Faz is plotting his assault on RWC’27

The very, very top level requires elite level speed. Ireland don’t have it.

Binky definitely didn’t know!

I enjoyed it. The try Argentina got in the second half was a brilliant score and right in front of us. Atmosphere was flat as you say until the last 10 minutes but it was still an enjoyable experience. I think its the nature of the game with all the stoppages that leads to lulls in atmosphere too

Different class of woman altogether at the rubby. They look like the type of women that actually get out of the shower to have a piss.

Ya for all the talk about props and this we don’t produce lads with real speed.

The Aussie and New Zealand always have lads
Like the wind.

It’s very formulaic & they generally execute the rehearsed patterns very well. But you need some cunt who can just glide on the grass, someone who can field a kick, stutter step & away through the gap in broken play. Someone who, if they’re not scoring/making tries from next to nothing, can make yards & ensure we’re playing in the opposition half.

Jeremy Clarkson is good

Osborne should be fullback, Keenan is very limited ball in hand. I’d go Nash right wing, Hansen left, Hansen could play anywhere on the back 3 or 13.

Nash is a good player but not an international class winger.

I was also of that assessment but he showed well in SA when they were beat up a stick. I think he is a better athlete than I originally thought. Was very worried by Lowe tonight, his legs looked gone on TV.

In reality I think Stockdale will get another shot left wing, he is a Ferrari with the game intelligence of one. Hansen stays right. I think it’s a buckle with Osborne fullback as the 3 centres are savages and defensively brilliant. Henshaw was powerful again there.

Keenan gets a lot of praise and he is solid but he is in that Leinster line of Girv, Kearney, et cetera, savage defensively but is that really enough when a Willie La Roux gives you that and the rest. Saw Keenan’s skills in the sevens, they’re not hectic. Osborne is a thoroughbred, has it all and I just don’t think Keenan needs to play at the expense of Bundee, Ringrose or Henshaw.
