November Rugby Internationals (On the sesh with the Goys)

It’s next to impossible run the ball out from your own 5 metre line in modern day rugby

That was fantastic. Both those sides a step above us

TNT are missing a trick having that prick Craig Doyle as host for the big rubby action when Orla is better in every way.

You missed an unbelievable game of hurling to watch a rubby friendly :man_shrugging:

What a TEST MATCH

There’s no such thing as a ‘friendly’ in test match rugby. The Dave Gallaher Trophy was on the line there tonight.

Friendly.

Who was the dose referring to Davy fitz as “fitzy” and why is that ucom Davy fitz commentating on a club who’s players he’ll be managing next year? Has he not taken a enough money out of the game as it is.

There was crucial World ranking points at stake too. Think it’s finished now after this window for the next
World Cup.

France and New Zealand compete for a trophy named after random lads from Donegal? Is there a Daniel O’Donnell trophy?

Who won the haka?

Dave Gallaher was the captain of the Originals, the New Zealand team that toured the British Isles and France in 1905-06.

Need to play the guys back into form

Just rewatching the game.

Crowley actually had a much better game than I thought. Particularly when you consider Ireland were down to 14 men twice.

The Irish players are almost afraid to try anything under Farrell. I see Crowley tried one cross kick that went wrong.

Cuts to Farrell shaking his head.

You see England, South Africa, New Zealand and France all trying to play from all over the field and when it goes wrong they just brush themselves down again.

Sexton in now as well. No coaching experience at all and a fella who never done much at a World Cup.

Huge Qs over POC too and Leinsters attack has improved since sexton and Goodman have left as well.

We must have the worst lineout of any top team and POC seems unable to do much about it.

Yes I’d be more worried about the management team than the players available tbh.

Crowley had an excellent first half. Try and DG obvious highlights but his restarts were great and defence etc good too. It was much more like the Crowley who played against France in the 6n earlier this year.

I thought second half was a lot more average. Yes - Ireland were under pressure in general and he’s only one player but that cross-kick was an example of heaping pressure back on your team when they needed to just steady the ship. Did he have another poor kick too?

Overall though he was good and much improved from the week before. He’s clearly still the no 1 but it’s no bad thing that we’re looking to find some depth too. I’d say both weeks subs were pre-planned to give Frawley/Prendergast 20 mins each and I wouldn’t be surprised if Crowley is rested this week.

The Munster fans pity-party needs to cool a bit though - Crowley is not immune from criticism and not everything is a D4 meeja conspiracy.

Sexton was completely immune to criticism for years.

It’s very odd the way a player who has come in and done really well under a lot of pressure is the fella picked apart.

Doris who got the captaincy has been very poor for a good while now and there isn’t a dickie bird about it.

It’s disgraceful by the media.

If Crowley was from Leinster we’d never hear the end of it.

And let’s call a spade a spade Frawley isn’t related to a number ten. That just came from nowhere created by the Dublin media.
