November Rugby Internationals (On the sesh with the Goys)

:clap::clap::clap:
So what you’re saying is, that more than one person is annoyed by this? Lar will be delighted to hear this.

As opposed to all the hugely helpful ones that are posted here regularly Gman/Mac/PM?
You should have broken that post into 2 there MBB-add to the post count like

Yes, I expect there’s quite a number of people outraged by this.

I’ve decided I don’t want to overtake Bandage PM/Mac/GMan, it just wouldn’t be christian, like.

Were people complaining about the ad or southern false patriotism in general?

The latter.

Good well glad it wasn’t personalised to POC anyway. Any particular examples highlighted by callers as to highlight the issue?

No sorry, it was personalised at POC also-saying he’s wrong for advertising a 26 county product when he’s supposed to represent the 32.

Oh right. Well I agree with them absolutely but think POC is more of a symptom of a problem than the problem itself. Issue of southernerss picking and choosing their Irishness and what that represetns goes far beyond this example but in fairness to POC I’m sure his mistake was in total innocence.

Think POC was doing this in his capacity as a Munster player, so he was actually being extra generous to the other 20 counties in the Republic. But hes that kind of guy!!

BTW is there any chat about the match in this thread, all I am seeing is bollox talk about POC not representing dairy farmers in Bangor Co Down or something? Some joke, the thread is forever tainted

There was plenty of talk about it, Larry just seems a little upset about a milk ad.
The fact that some tool rang a talk show about this considering everything else thats going on is unbelievable, and shows what bitter backward total fucking idiots live in this country.

Are you familiar with the Joe Duffy show at all? They had a section last week devoted to meat being tagged so it couldn’t be stolen from supermarkets. It’s not exactly cutting edge discussion Kev.

I listened to it once around the time of Saipan, never since. Generally only listen to Radio 1 for Micheals commentary, other than that i believe them to be biased and agenda driven, so i listen to the likes of Red FM and Newstalk.

You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out… do the hokey cokey… The inspiration for the song’s title, “The Hokey Pokey”, that resulted, came from an ice cream vendor whom Al had heard as a boy, calling out “Hokey pokey penny a lump. Have a lick make you jump”. He changed the name to “The Hokey Cokey” at… the suggestion of the officer who said that ‘hokey cokey’, in Canada, meant ‘crazy’ and would sound better. A well known lyricist/songwriter/music publisher of the time, Jimmy Kennedy, reneged on a financial agreement to promote and publish it, and finally Al settled out of court, giving up all rights to the number. There had been many theories and conjectures about the meaning of the words “Hokey Pokey”, and of their origin. Some scholars[citation needed] attributed the origin to the Shaker song Hinkum-Booby which had similar lyrics and was published in Edward Deming Andrews’ A gift to be simple in 1960

Of course, any post of Kevin’s about rugby football should always be treated with the utmost scepticism and caution given the campaign he waged to have Brian O’Driscoll dropped from the Ireland team ahead of the victorious Six Nations campaign earlier this year.

Did you have that stored on your paste button or something?
What the fuck are you on about? is what comes to mind right now.
Are you trying to match mbb for pointless posts.
