He was full back on the last Wexford team to win the Tony Forrestal, current senior Dee O Keefe the only one of that side to really make an impact at county senior. Not sure what the last video was you speak of, but he was a decent footballer and hurler. All the skills were probably driven out of him to make it at rugby
I don’t know pal. I just never saw his name on the team that won it. The management team of that side is a real who’s who of Wexford hurling.
Team Conor Goff; Michael Curtis, Tadhg Furlong, Jack Kelly; Denis Jones, James Gordon (capt.), Nicholas Murphy; Diarmuid O’Keeffe (0-2), Cathal Clince; Conor Levingstone, Fergal Hynes (0-6), Niall Murphy (2-6); Lee Devereux, Shay Delaney (2-1), Syl Barron. Subs. - Eoin Whitmore (1-0) for Devereux, Jack Hobbs for Barron.
The success was a fitting reward for this very talented and dedicated squad of players who had been preparing diligently for the past twelve weeks under the expert guidance of Mick Byrne (Ballygarrett), Jack O’Brien (Buffers Alley), Jim O’Connell (Rathnure), Eddie ‘Heffo’ Walsh (Faythe Harriers), Brendan Moore (Oulart-The Ballagh) and Kevin Kennedy (Oulart-The Ballagh).
