Saw somewhere that Boro have bid £14 Million for Jordan Rhodes!
They’ve already brought in Downing and Stuani for relatively big sums for a Championship side.
When you see ridiculous fees being paid and touted for the likes of Luke Shaw, John Stones and others, it’s refreshing to see financial prudence being maintained in the Championship. Rhodes would be an absolute snip at that price.

Hull are probably a good bet to go up, real solid feel to their team with a bit of quality there as well. The lad Clucas they’ve signed from Chesterfield looks far removed from a footballer though, slow, cumbersome and very poor on the ball. Looks out of his depth at this level.
Middlesbrough will walk the league, they have an excellent home record under Karanka and have added some relatively good players over the summer
Hull, Charlton and Brentford are my tips.

I watched the Notts Forest and Huddersfield game last night.
Forrest were very good and quite unlucky to drop two points to a deflected strike. Mancienne has developed into a class act of a holding midfielder, Woy Hodgson should be getting him into the England squad ASAP.
Think QPR will get the points in tonight’s game away to Fulham.
