O’Byrne Cup, Walsh Cup and other sundry pre season provincial tournaments

Much like Leitrim they’ll reap what they sow

That’ll take some getting used to still

It is yeah, very hard to believe but I suppose he will always go back to them missing key players last night. He is probably blessed they were missing so many.

Looked like a decent win for Galway, Offaly had a very strong lineup.

It was something like 2-17 to 0-08 from play to Galway.

They are still a bit green but looked to be really on it.

Training Stephens Day working in the short term anyway.

Could see him quit before the championship if things go bad in the league.

Too money hungry to do that. Any team that employs him deserve what they get.

Wexford Kilkenny Wednesday night I believe in IT Carlow.

It’s like TG4 need to refresh their stream

Constantly glitching and sound way out of sync

Same here, unlike them in fairness.

Basically unwatchable. Looks like a great crowd there.

You’d wonder how they haven’t just cut the stream and tried to restart like

Cork win by one. Stream settled down for the last 10 minutes, someone in the crowd must have done a hotspot.

I was happy with Darragh O’Sull, Alan Walsh and Brian O’Sullivan from the bits I could see.

I tried to go to Mallow this evening. Knew I going to miss the 1st 10 minutes cos I was late heading to it. Gave up trying to get thereat half time. Was stuck in traffic for 20 minutes trying to get away from there. My own fault for leaving in too late to go but it was crazy there

Kildare lead Westmeath at halftime in the O’Byrne cup final.

Nothing remarkable about it thus far except to note that the former Roscommon Bainisteóir, the portly Davy Burke, has resurfaced after being unseen for about a fortnight. He’s now a Kildare selector.

These lads are becoming an embarrassment to the GAA.

That’s some 2 pointer by Luke o Loughlin to win it for Westmeath - a great advertisement for the rules.

Wicklow put out their U20 team against Carlow tonight in the O’ Byrne Cup shield. Would’ve been one for the GAA betting thread.

I’ve just learned that Mark McHugh is Westmeath manager.

I’d actually think Joe Murphy would be very pissed off over that.

I’d say he’ll use it as fuel when they meet again in a few weeks. Carlow are away to Antrim which isn’t ideal but I’d say they’ll go close to promotion. No Jordan Morrissey though.
