O’Byrne Cup, Walsh Cup and other sundry pre season provincial tournaments

Yeah I’d say they’ll have a good chance of going up, Joe Murphy I’d imagine will get most of the lads he wants on board, Cake Curran has to be the most predictably disastrous appointment in GAA history.

Shur i telt everyone last week Laois had the C side out agin Carlow below in Rathvilly. A slam dunk

Only Cork would think Kerry give a solid fuck about them

Hup. Went down there and beat the cunts.

Who was Joe over before Naas?

Eire Óg. Took them to the Leinster final in 2019 when they lost by 2 points to Ballyboden.

What’s this now?

Yeah, you can’t be disrespecting the O Byrne Shield

Yeah, remember that now.

Tipped into Parnell today. Competitive fare between two teams who clearly don’t like each other.

I heard afterwards that any player who got minutes on the day could take a penalty. Different to rules of all other competitions.

The pitch is not in great nick, but it barely gets a rest. I’d wager there were 4 games a weekend there from mid July to Nov. Add in county teams training on it. There is no county ground in the country that gets used as much

There should be no county teams training on it - ridiculous

The fact that Dublin don’t have a training base such as Faithful fields, Dr Morris Pk, Darver…means their IC teams are relying on the colleges and clubs giving pitches. I’d be sure Parnell picks up the slack here.

I am beginning to develop a theory that this Wexford chap Eamon Furlong is going make any match he can make a draw out of, a draw.

Sad Get Over It GIF

Ye have loads of fields but no players. Tis the opposite in the big smoke

Ah no, we have players alright, they’re just not All Ireland standard but that doesn’t make them non players.
