Savage intensity to this game. Full credit to Waterford they’ve given Kilkenny plenty of it. They’ve used the handpass very well around the middle but it’s the long, straight deliveries that have been the biggest waste from their point of view. A stupid exchange of aimless balls led to the Kilkenny goal and gave Kilkenny the 5/6 point lead they don’t really deserve. Far too much to expect Waterford to win it but they’ve done the business so far.
