not sure he condoned it to be honest. There is surely a median between condoning an incident and calling a team of 16/17 year olds an absolute disgrace to their jersey.

Playing down and making little of an incident where a 16 year old chap was put into a head brace and carried off a field when the game was over, isn’t exactly decrying the carryon.
I agree the two boys could well find some middle ground, but I suspect there’s previous between them for some reason or other.
I said it before anyway, I blame the referee, that game should have been long over.
