Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 1)

Dunno how he was allowed run from half way line with nobody coming out to meet him. Wexford are useful enough up front. A goal soon and they are by no means out of this one

Tipp are going to win this by some scoreline.

Wexford are getting cleaned in the air

I think Wex got destroyed by Cork in the under 21 semi in Nowlan Pk last year.

Will the final be in Limerick again?

More than likely I’d imagine.

I think I heard yesterday that it would be yeah.

Take Morris off?

Three around the attacker and two on the line for Wexford and they still conceded the goal.

Munster has dominated this competition to a ridiculous extent in recent years

Generally the All Ireland series in this is played in Munster rather than Leinster, as with minor and senior.

*semi finals this year excepted.

What the fuck is this ref up to?

Huh?

Wexford are very limited

The U20/U21 semis and final have mostly taken part in Thurles over the past decade. The minor and senior semis and final have taken place in Croker.

Ah I get you

You’ve seen Cathal McAllister referee before right?

In terms of quality I meant

Giving advantage, whistling it back with the ball in mid air rolling into the net, realising he fucked up and rolling back the awarded free to allow the goal is pretty special even by his standards. Tipp barely gave a shit, they know they’re home and dry anyway.

2008 the last Leinster win.

You had the traditional format for a long time which meant you had Antrim and Galway coming into the semis. 2013 I think when Antrim rounded up a team on the morning of the semi and put Wexford out with it.
