how is one positive case after making everyone a close contact. That isnât how it works. In Dublins case only the fellas that went in the car with the lad who tested positive were close contacts.

If it was because they used the same dressing room well they have broken protocol because dressing rooms are out of bounds.

They were all on the same bus, Protocol is that they travel separately.
The conclusion is that they are waiting for injuries to clear up and a chance they would have their seniors back.
Looks like they are using Covid as grounds to have a few more players available.
Mayo had to field a patched up team this year already, albeit against Leitrim.
Tyrone had a to play an Ulster final minus 3 probable starters and one of their managers.
The rules are pretty clear that if you are unable to fulfill your fixture then you forfeit it. I fail to see how Mayo and Tyrone were still able to field teams and Cork wouldnât be.

The rule is that a deferral may be granted only in the case of an All-Ireland final. Now, whether theyâre pulling a stroke or not is another question.

Maybe so. Hard to see how they would have kept it quiet for 24 hours. Seriously shoddy if they knew the day before and they werenât warned not to play. He was only a sub as well so not like it was vital he played

they why is the big one - why were they all deemed close contacts by the HSE? If that is the case all future positive cases within a panel will be treated the same and the whole thing is fucked

You would think Cork are so well run now that this situation wouldnât have been allowed to come to pass.
Unless theyâd a house party Wednesday night and they all slept on top of each other.

Iâll be destroyed for this of course but Jesus, itâs hilarious to think that lads believe this is some giant conspiracy cooked up at the top table so that Cork will somehow cheat their way to an underage trophy!

Gas thing is if Cork senior lose to KK theres zero chance Pat Ryan brings Barrett and Connolly back into the panel thereby having to shaft two young fellas who trained with the 20s all year. All about player development in Cork these days.
