12,500 at it according to the Dazzler this morning. That’s some crowd.
Its been quite some time since I seen the stand in OMP full to capacity. Maybe when the hurlers gave the Dubs their dinner while still drunk from winning the McDonagh. But I wouldnt even say it was full then.
Monday evening Provincial Finals are the job, no word of a lie.

I may be biased but that’s one of the finest. Location, seating, terracing, toilets, turnstiles, Centre of Excellence adjacent. Parking could be better but you won’t be stuck either.
Talk of Leinster Council funding a second stand on the left hand side there and turning it into the de facto second stadium outside Croke Park in Leinster

Ah its a beautiful ground. I think the last time I was there was the replay of the club all ireland a few years back but it was absolutely immaculate
I’d have Tullamore up with it.

Tullamore is the finesht, but I dont like that big open area at the back of the town end, its very unseemly looking.

Jesus that’s a massive crowd for an U17 game. Great to see, and particularly given the counties involved.
