That was a great match. Thought Tipp were out on their feet the last ten and Galway would sneak it after the goal but they finished strong.

Tipp were winning their ball that bit easier and were physically that bit stronger overall in the tackle. The work ethic of the Tipp forwards was impressive. Well done Tipp.

Would love to have seen Niland play in Croke Park in the final. He would have done untold on that pitch. Tipp a bit physically stronger and the workrate and tackling of their forwards after half-time just about won them the game. They probably scored 1-4 or 1-5 direct from turnovers in our defence.

I believe Rory Burke is a son of Richie. Probably one of Galway’s better goalies. Better to have one or two brilliant individual prospects on an underage team than 15 decent ones. All those minor all Irelands and fuck all has come through, again.

Tipp needed that result more than Galway really.
Offaly going to be slight favourites after dismantling Clare I’d imagine.
Hard to say. Today was a much higher quality game than the other one but Offaly have looked a fine side all year really.
