In theory you’d imagine that should be the way but I’m not really sure that’s backed up by any factual evidence though. To the best of my knowledge they weren’t winning Connaught underage titles in the late 90’s/early 00’s before their golden period at senior level (2002-2012). Last night was the first time they’d ever won back-to-back titles in any grade. These lads will almost certainly improve their lot at senior level too.
