Iâd never heard of some of the Waterford playersâ clubs - Bonmahon, Mondeligo and Ballysaggart. Apparently the latter club is a tiny place up a mountain near Araglin.
Youâve never heard of Bunmahon? Itâs a delightful little spot where I first learned how to swim. Itâll be a landmark in years to come.
Itâs Modeligo Bandage. Grand little village up the west. Bonmahon is, as Horsebox points out, a honkytonk beach resort on the Copper Coast. Ballysaggart is up beside Lismore.
Patrick Curran, Colm Roche, Stephen Bennett and particularly Austin Gleeson look like serious prospects for Waterford.
Iâm impressed you know Araglin. Iâve met Corkmen who have never heard of the place.
My ancestors worked in the corporate banking sector in north Cork in places like Kilworth, Araglin and Glanworth.

They finished with 12 men, 12 points and a 14 point hiding!
3 lads sent off on straight red cards. FFS.
What Clubs were these fellas who got sent off from?
The curse of the dual player beginning to wipe underage hurling in Tipp just as its done in Cork?
Are you telling us asking us? The question mark suggests its a question but the rest seems to make me think this is a poorly worded statement masquerading as a question, be it rhetorical or not.
No.
They just ainât up to it this year Albert.
