I think there is a lot to like about the current round robin, it gives lads at this level plenty of game time and chances to develop but you would miss the auld cut throat straight knockout 21s championship for results like this - Brendan Cummins reputation would be in tatters tonight under the old system

Eleven of them started against Limerick last year when they put them away easily enough. Be interested to know what was at the game it seemed very dead from the tv.
You canāt imagine Tipp will be as pedestrian and lazy the next day. They might have to move O Farrell away from 6 to get the best out of him. Cork beat Tipp by 13 points in 2018 Munster final under Cahill and they bounced back to win the All Ireland still.
Limerick never feared Tipp. We may be in the doldrums but Iāl say it again we never feared Tipp and especially in Thurles

Great to get an away win under their belts, means Tipp will have to win their remaining games when they still have McCarthy eligible.

1st goes straight to a Munster Final and 2nd/3rd to a defacto Munster semi-final isnāt it?
An Eddie Brennan v Westmeath in 2016 type result. Although he got another year at it in 2017.
Just back from Thurles. Very enjoyable win. Should have won by more really but for some wayward shooting. Jaysus Tipp were poor. No touch, fundamentals were bad, dropping the ball, no workrate.
Felt like a real throwback to be underdogs against Tipp

Murrayās performance was the best Iāve seen from any Limerick player at any grade in my 35 years attending inter county games. He played like a man possessed. That block was phenomenal, as was his performance in general.
