Sure it clear as day theyâve been told to foul screeney
Disappointing that the cork management have chosen to deal with Screeney in the manner they have. A confident hurling county would have tried take him on within the game. Man to man. Instead itâs been flaking, pulling, timbering and tripping. Shameful in truth.
It looks very targeted alright. Pity as I think they could win well without it
I said this at the Leinster final, Fluery should not be on co-comms when Offaly are playing.
Iâm not sure heâs the major problem here with this game
Theyâll have the legs and the bench to win
Cathal Moore was worse earlier
Cork look to have choked the space in the last 10 and are very strong carrying the ball.
Offaly need scores from outside, probably need more from Mitchell.
Kingston is absolutely blessed to be still on the pitch. Downey very lucky not to be on a yellow too.
Offaly need to be sharper on breaking ball though, Cork have the bigger men.
I think Cork will run out easy winners here. Outside of Screeney, Offaly dont have a real threat.
Offaly have a nice breeze to come. If they can get another forward or two into the game they have a right chance.
A red card for Cork on the way alright.
Depends on us keeping 15 on the pitch. Our options in the backs on the bench arenât great assuming Lyons hasnât hurled much but Iâd be happier with BOC off. Howell hasnât been great either.
Im sure that will be addressed at half time. Ben O Connor is the one Id worry about as too impulsive.
Ref doesnât want to give one though, doesnât want to be seen to ruin the match.
This is one of those games where Cork look like theyâll ship an inevitable red card and the ref will give them the benefit of everything from then to the final whistle.
In a nutshell.
He is unwieldy; he could go out of his way to avoid a red and still get sent off.
Christ thatâs a sickening challenge. Had to go for that.
Heâll give one.
I wouldnât be surprised if Cork pulled one of the yellows at HT.
