They’ve made a hames of it yet again. 3 years in a row now they’ve underestimated Offaly support
Great to see the interest in this, it’s brilliant for likes of Offaly and Tipp to have these promising teams
Nowlan Park is the perfect venue. 18,000 seats on offer, around 23k capacity. Not their fault that Ticketmaster etc fucked up.
The Offaly boys are absolutely fuming over this. Kilkennys treachery wont be forgotten.
Proper stewarding, a playable pitch and a public address system that works is the minimum these teams deserve unlike the semi final in Portlaoise the last day.
It’s a real pity that the Kildare county board & Leinster council didn’t team up to make a 25-30,000 bespoke venue which could cater for all the Leinster football games and hurling finals that involve KK.
When you’ve blotted your copybook so many times on the financial front, it would be hard to hand them over a chunk of money and trust them to build a stadium
You couldnt trust them to do it. If you’re wondering where this stadium is going to be, all you need to do is look at the location of the Leinster Council Offices.
There’s ample room on horsey horse tracks in Kildare to put in a decent mid level size stadium; plenty of car parking space too. Tailgating at GAA games would be unbelievable, with the Biffos playing the role of the Bills Mafia
What about the sheep and the horses?
Mugged off. Watch the black market go crazy.
Age old rule, if you get tickets, take them. Worry about where they are for afterwards.
At least any of the biffs that dont get tickets can go to Offaly v Down in the Tailteann Cup.
Sure some of them will have to stay at home and mind the house
I’d like to see Tipp win this
Would anyone like to recap what happened here with the tickets?
God be with the days where you could corner the county board secretary as he got in to his car, to get a ticket.
That sounds a bit sinister mate.
If I was sinister I’d have targeted him running out the gate with the cash receipts for a county semi double header.
