That was a classic of the âparty pointâ genre. An extravagant point late in a game by (usually but not always) a defender in a game that is already won.
Michael Duignan got a beauty of the genre in the 1998 All-Ireland final.
Paul Higgins of Down was a specialist of this genre of point in Ulster football finals.
