I don’t know are referees stupid or what or whether they don’t realise that the experimental rules don’t apply but this is the latest in a series of matches this year where the ref is blowing up handpasses left right and centre. Dublin’s U-21 matches against Westmeath and Donegal were ruined by this type of shite and Deegan is at it big time today.
There was a change in the hand pass rule Sid. You have to see a “clear striking action” open or closed fist for it to be a correct pass. I went to a rules update meeting last week, what a fucking farce and waste of my time.
Referees are cunts i’ve decided. They simply ignore the players perspective.
