Official All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship 2010 Thread

The news I heard out of Kilkenny was kind of mixed over the weekend.
Some good, some bad, some scary.

Henry Shefflin was taken off the frees by his club in their championship match against Clara.
TJ Reid took over but his form has been quite poor too. Cha is meant to be playing some excellent stuff these days as is Michael Fennelly.

Eoin Larkin has been very much struggling for form as of late.
A couple of weeks ago against Comer he was a pile of dung. He was missing easy frees and hitting a number of wides from play.
This week he started slowly against Fenians. Was porr in the first half hitting a couple of wides.
In the second half when put on JJ Delaney he suddenly burst in to life as did the rest of the Village with him as they put Fenians to the sword, the team scoring 4-8 in the last quarter. As I posted on another thread Larkin went down late on with what looked like a knee injury.
Hopefully he will be ok to face Dublin. JJ was good but for the while Larkin was on him. PJ Ryan could do little about the goals.

I heard that Gorta and Brian Hogan were good for Loughlins against Muckalee.
John Mulhall was a sub for Muckalee. Bizarre.

Richie Power was not expected to play against Tullaroan for Carrickshock but did and they won.

Go fuck yourself CLD.

That was simplicity itself.

He’s a nutjob so you’d never know what he done.

Worrying news so coming out of KK. As I suspected, we haven’t a hope of winning the AI this year.

Galway’s to lose

Will Laois/Dublin be on TV?

Nope.

What channel is the Clare Waterford game on?

See the post right above yours Mac.

I’m fooking losing it. Was sure that wasn’t there the first time I read it.

Ah christ, Donal O’Grady is going to be there. He hates us.

He’s a brilliant analyst, but he never seems to be able to stop himself from saying how shit we are.

Marry that sentence up for me there… Great analyst, says ye are shit…

No value at all in the Waterford bet this weekend. Laois are 4-1 to beat the Dubs and that’s tasty enough for me to have a few pound on.

He’s always, always saying it though. We get it.

Fair enough, can’t say I’ve noticed it.
I’ll keep an eye out for it this weekend.

I believe he’s a good analyst 'cos he’s been in IC management in recent years, thus more in tune with the modern game and players.

Amazingly like the stuff you KK boys were posting this time last year Locke. I don’t know how you live with the disappointment, year after year.

why is it called the all oireland when only a few places enter the competition -

Daily mail reader
