Not sure if this is a wind-up or what Puke, please clarify.
Given that Ray Ryan is starting wingback on sunday and the fact that he has shown that he just isnât up to this level the last two days would Cork not be better off try someone else thereâŚBy all accounts Half Back is OâSullivanâs best position, seeing as it is Antrim(they may well make a game of it, but wonât come close to winning) would it not have made more sense to give OâSullivan a run there or the likes of Egan
Bollocks. Amongst other things the fucker is too small for the position.
Egan should be starting there, this is a mistake by the management not a lack of wing backs.
Cork 0-15 Waterford 0-13 FT.
Scorers: Conway (0-5), Cooper (0-2), OâSullivan (0-2), OâCallaghan (0-2) Harrington (0-2), Lawton, Cooper, Corry. (0-1 each)
Mini TFK exclusive - Bride and Glen Rovers thrown out of Senior Hurling Championship for mass brawls.
that is correct. paudie has always being a forward. has played there for cloyne since u12. has played centreback and half back on cork underage teams due to a lack of backs. i remember his last year minor he was centreback and mannix was wingback and they would have being our two best forwards.
i am worried about this game against antrim. shane oâ neill is a massive loss. i would rate him as our standout player at this point in time. i would never have dropped horgan. for me he is our most talented forward at this point in time. he has being starved of quality ball in last two games. you cant make chicken salad out of chicken shit. hogan, aisike and fraggie would put scores on the board if they get good ball, no doubt about it.
Our half backline and midfield are not performing at the 2003-2006 level. while gardiner and curran to a lesser extent havânt being bad they are not playing at the 2003-2006 level. tom kenny has being very poor and seems like a guy that is living off reputation at ths point in time. naughton has done well but isânt physical enough for midfield exchanges and would do better at half forward.
we are blessed with an abundance of decent backs. shane murphy has shown that he is up to the standard. with this in mind its a pity that shane oâ neill wasânt deployed as a midfielder this year. he would give massive dynaminism to this sector. egan should have got a serious amount of league time. its crazy that walsh who was playing for intermediates tonight was getting game time ahead of him yet he would seem to be totally out of the equation at this point in time.
The puke being shown up as a pure bullshitter here as well. No surprises there!! That child hasnât a clue.
Livid Mick.
Disgraceful, thats Junior hurling stuff, blame the corner forward because the manager makes a balls of the tactics. Iâm glad a KK man said it, or any outsider to be honest.
I donât know what to say. Its not easy to stay away from insulting guys in situations like this, and Ray Ryan is a friend of a friend, but its a sad sad day for Cork hurling, seriously. I wouldnât run down the blind alleys Ryan does, or foul like him. There is, conservative figure now, 8 or 9 guys better suited to playing wing back at the weekend.
Delighted Paudi is in, but it should be for Fraggie, and jesus William Egan in on the wing. Thank god Shane Murphy is around, otherwise weâd be in quare trouble.
If it wasnât all so serious (in a sporting manner) iâd be breaking my hole laughing for the evening. The old fella actually uttered the words " i donât know if iâll go at all", which believe me, is not normal.
As he said today, Fraggies in because he works hard and hooks and blocks well, you wouldnât get a trial for the KK minors if you didnât have that as a prerequisite .
On the Bride Rovers-Glen thing, dead fucking right, the cunts had no right to appeal, they refused to give certain names, gave names of people (who volunteered) who werenât next or near it, and were not thrown out of championship. i donât like Honohan and his cronies, but they have got this right.
Are Bride Rovers going to be relegated? they are in relegation semi final against Blarney tuesday.
The treatment of Michael Walsh is bizarre - considering he played for the Intermediates tonight is he now not a factor for the Seniors?
i would doubt he is still on senior panel. crazy egan wasânt giving the same amount of league time as walsh. desmond called into panel for sunday aswell.
Walsh was a sub last weekend, and was next back on iâd say.
Great atmosphere in Croker
Watson should have got the road there, you know it was a bad belt when Finnerty is giving out about it
He hit Cadogan though so fair enough really.
I missed the incident but Watson has form, dirty cunt.
Rte should have some way of laying an atmosphere audio track over these early games. Boring as fuck.
Sounds like they actrually edit it out. Watson diving now. Toerag.
the pigsty is empty for this game- do they hate stick hurling that much in cork & antrim that nobody goes to games
yes, yes they doâŚ
Antrim to their credit are doing well their first touch looks decent but seem to be lacking a bit of confidence
