Official Arsenal FC Thread - 2015/16

As it was in the 1994 World Cup.

It was fairly obvious early on that Arsenal weren’t playing Giroud as a conventional 9 anyway and as often as not he was in midfield and Walcott upfront.

Eh Baggio missed the penalty, mate.

Sacchi took off Baggio in the second group game against Norway after Pagliuca had been sent off, mate.

Obviously trying to exploit Terry’s lack of pace at the back. Nembo wouldn’t understand such intricacies

We still had Casiraghi and Signori on the pitch. Signori had been top scorer in Serie A in the preceeding two seasons and Casiraghi was an outright no 9.

What a terrible, terrible game.

Very disappointed with Ramsey today.

Referee could need a garda escort here

Utter shit mate. I’m fed up.

Two of Arsenal’s best chances fell to Flamini. The last person you’d want anywhere near a goal chance.

Main focus for Arsenal for rest of the season should be on consolidating a top four finish, far too many tricky away games to have any grander ambitions.

And we wonder why Leicester are top of the table

Spot on ref chances falling to Flamini. Per made the mother of all brain farts, not good enough from him. Ramsey very poor in possession.

Positives, well at least they fought to try & get a point. Good resolve shown considering events, Sanchez was excellent & he will really drive the team on hopefully.

Trip to the south coast to face Bournemouth on Saturday has the potential to be tricky. Bournemouth have actually picked up one point more over the last twelve league games.

Yurt.

2-0 up after 25 mins.

Ozil & Oxlade.

Big test of championship credentials now. Real hometown decision there not to award Leicester a stonewall penalty.

Finally catching a break. Need to go on and win this now and secure that 4th spot early so we can focus on the FA Cup.

At full strength apart from Wilshere and Cazorla. At home to 10 men. Absolutely no excuses. The frustration goes on.

Never in doubt. No excuses needed.
