I only found out during the week that the hotel hosting the roses has to put them up for free. So the Rose Hotel told them to fuck off out of it and they’ll rent the rooms out for €300 a night instead. They are staying in the meadowlands this year which would be a bit of a step down.

Is 2019 Rose of Tralee winner Sinead Flanagan related to Seamus Flanagan? I think someone said at the time that she’s his sister but I don’t think that’s the case.

Had a great night in the dome back around 2015. We picked up free tickets from some auld lad outside after the Rose had been crowned. The Agri-Spec version Queen of The Land was also very good craic.
