What more could we have won though? That’s the question. Underage is a shambles
its normally common courtesy if one is critiquing, that you actually point out where the errors occured, so yes, i expect you to give the story the mac touch
ah ffs dan
sure you could ask that about before frank came along, what could cork have won if he was around then ?
hypothetical nonsense
oh FFS sakes. theyve had their most successful years at underage during murphy’s tenure. you could argue as well that they profitted at u21 when everyone else was getting their house in order back in the 60s and the numbers argument should be applied all the way through for cork in which case murphy does better than his predecessors especially considering he is in the age of penetration by other sports such as soccer and rugby through sky exposure
8 u21 football allirelands (2 before murphy - 9 years)
6 u21 hurling allirelands (5 before murphy - 9 years)
5 minor football allirelands (5 before murphy-45 years)
7 minor hurling allirelands (11 before murphy- 45 years)
9 senior hrling all irelands (21 before murphy - 85 years)
4 senior football all irelands (3 before murphy 85 years)
Wev won 1 underage title in the last 15 years. So possibly the game has passed him by.

Not saying he hasn’t done a great job. But should he still be there 40 years later? Of course not. No one should be in a role like that for that kind of timeframe.
yep, the last 15 years has been the period, as i alluded to earlier, that GAA lost its domkinance through rugby and soccer being promoted by sky
now thats a different argument and a very valid one. the others were questioning his record which he can easily stand over, whether or not he should have stayed that long is a good debate.
Meyler put his arm around meylers should
Will I draw you a diagram too?

I’d consider both points related. His view would be that GAA competes with no one and wouldn’t acknowledge the other games as a threat. I played for guts of 20 years and never heard of a development coach for underage in all that time. The other sports put resources here to sell and develop their sports. I believe it has improved in recent years to be fair but they were long time figuring i out.
It’s a massive county which needs to be super organised to maximise resources which it’s not
Sad to see the Cork lads getting roped in by the various retards on this thread.
cheer up tourettes FFS sake, ye put kk to the sword today
This thread makes no sense.
And?
Christ, you sound like Art now Mac
Woah woah, no need for that fitzy. My point was that when did it become a requirement for threads on here to make sense?
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT
Great thread lads…
Theres a lot that doesnt make sense to you, isnt there. Were you a struggler in FCJ?
Art ( like all the Wexford and Offaly crowd who gave up on their own no-hopers long, long ago) is taking the defeat of his beloved adopted Kilkenny very badly.
Cheer up, Art. Are the Kilkenny footballers still involved in the All- England, you’ll still have a team to shout for. And it’s been a great summer for the new spuds in, get out picking.
Anyway, spare a thought for the inbreds of Kilkenny, end of an era and they didn’t even have an O’hAilpín or a Cusack to racially and homophibically abuse as a consolation for their sound thrashing and the justifiable sending-off of Henry mé fein Shefflin last Sunday. And their Wexford and Offaly lapdogs have no one to shout for now either.
