Skills skills skills. When you grow up you won’t remember the fellas who were fit as fiddles youl remember the lad who could swing it over off right and left. Skills!
Skills pay the bills.
You always need the heavy lifters but I think We all like an artist in any sport … the guy who always had time, space and vision …
Yeah def need the water carriers but you don’t make them water carriers at 11 or 12
I watched the eamon Ryan programme the other night … he won some amount … didn’t know he was in with Na piarsigh hurlers over the years … thought he was involved with UCC in galvins and fitzmaurices time when they won Munster club around turn of century ?..
He was in charge of the gaa in ucc that time alright. I’d say he retired from being a school principal and went to ucc then for a few years. Not sure if he was coaching or overseeing
Hockey back this morning lads.
I’ve 0 involvement here but my man loves it, Santa bought him a Pittsburgh penguins shirt so he thinks he is playing in the NHL or something half the time.
I must get him one of those posh neckscarves.
Blitz next week over in Avoca which is miles away.
Soccer coaches meeting tomorrow night.
And for u8 gaelic…back Feb… 2 nights a week and go games on Saturday…TBD on hurling, ill say it’ll be abandoned
Brilliant. My lad gone back hockey today as well. I too have zero involvement. It definitely attracts boys who are not too competitive or arsed which is a huge plus.
Our GAA trip to Salthill has been pushed back to February.
The ginger lad with the mullet
I knew he’d feature in the replies
What does it pay
Think of it as an internship
Is that the Longford lad who played with crokes on the very right ?
Don’t think so. Looks more like McBarron who played with Fermanagh.
It’s not McBarron.
Very like Brian Kavanagh from Longford
Kilmacud Crokes, I’ve heard of them. Their most famous moment was when they managed a snatch a draw against Ballysteen.
