If there is one thing the online coaches can’t abide it’s arrogance, and the FRC are the epitome of it.
He had 4 conversations yesterday that have given him massive clarity, but apparently there was no sharing of information pre the internet era.
Donaghy and his basketball background is now the new thing and the golden ticket, though one of the most famous footballers in the country 30 years ago used to spend 6 months footballing and 6 months basketballing.
It’s fascinating to watch the online coaches engage with each other, certainly far more entertaining than any of the teams they turn out.

What I’m never quite certain of is whether these spoofers believe what they are saying, or it’s all just for the gullible. I heard that a recent All-Ireland winning senior club manager didn’t get the role in his own junior club because the other candidate gave a more impressive presentation, so there is clearly a market for all these fellas.

Does he not still have the day job in London? Seems like a nice fella…& I know I’ve no qualifications in the field myself & rely only on my superior intellect, intuition & analytical skills…but that online GGA football coaching fraternity do come across as weirdos. It was perhaps notable when London county board moved on from him as senior manager at the end of his term there (despite him expressing interest in continuing) there weren’t player delegations pushing for his reinstatement or speaking out.
I haven’t a clue, but this is too far gone where I totally agree, he’s coming by as a weirdo. Also agree he seems like a nice fella, but ffs, it’s about time he walk the walk here now.

Yeah he lives and works in london and is married with a child there. Used to work.with QPR but has a couple of sports science/performance consulting companies now.
