Official TFK GAA Coaches Corner

Jesus. The Castleknock crew playing mind games and naming dummy teams at under 11…

Waiting to see which lads come with them and which go to OPER or St Brigid’s

Is midweek training for under 7s not a bit ridiculous? Train at weekends and let the schools coaches take care of the weekday session.

When the evenings are nice and bright, why not?

You’re also assuming theres anything being done by school coaches beyond throwing a ball into them.

If you have the volunteers to run the session, I don’t see the issue. It’s not like it’s overly serious but if the weather is nice, it’s good for kids to be out, I think.

A lot of schools do absolutely fuck all too.

Hes tormented finding them pitch space

Is there not blitzes at the weekends?

When I’d the 7s we trained for hurling Tuesday, football Thursday and a blitz on a Saturday.

GDAs do the coaching around here in the schools so it’s ok.

I was just having a whinge really. By time dinner was made, eaten and she was ready, it’s time for training and no homework done. When it’s a busy household etc. It’s a stress I’m not used to.

If they are serious about it they should be training at 6am in the morning and again in the evening

A team over coached and neutered by their neurotic manager who fluked an all Ireland. Sounds about right.

It’s fascinating to watch. By the looks of it today was a missed opportunity for Leitrim - but they won’t paint it that way

Amazing
