Maybe they could ask chris gaines to stand in for brooks
Not in the least. Garth saw a country who couldnt even agree over 5 measly little concerts, and then there were petitions and letters to cancel all 5, forged letters were being treated legitimately by the City Council.
Who could blame him quite frankly for upping and going. His Press Conference on Thursday will no doubt make the country an even greater laughing stock. And yet people think this is a good thing.
We are doomed.
Fuck off MBB
I hope they never get that fucking handball centre.
Away and shite you.
Oh wait.
Garth tried to hold Oireland to ransom and was told to sling his hook.
Garth may have friends in low places but in Oireland he didn’t have any friends in high places.
Shambles.
Aiken just said on RTE that DCC flip flopped to 4 concerts.
DCC have just confirmed this.
State of this fat cow moaning about it on the news now:D

"He’s best friends with Garth Brooks, and his manager. I’ve never seen him so excited as when he booked these gigs. "[/QUOTE]
Not half as excited as he was when he thought he could flog tickets for five concerts.
A shameful day in Irish History. 400,000 people wanted to converge on the Nations capital to listen to a Line Dancing soundtrack, and what happens? It is royally fucked up after the tickets were sold. Aiken is a promoter, his job is to sell tickets which he did. Croke Park is a venue for Hire and did its business. The residents spoke out which again they are entitled to do.
BUT, the City Council & DCC fucked this up royally. How long has this gig been sold out for? They come out with stipulations at the start of fucking July. Less than a month before showtime. And people call Brooks/Aiken & Croke Park cunts?
Dublin Lord Mayor Christy Burke on Drivetime with Mary Wilson there.
“The country is in mourning. It’s like a funeral without the coffin.”

What are you getting out this DK? How come you have such an affinity with residents? Did someone take a piss on your lawn once?
A singer who was famous about 20 years ago has tried to call the shots in another country thousands of miles away, giving scant regard for local residents or law makers (in this case Dublin City Council)
Admittedly he was aided and abetted by the GAA and Aiken - a troika of greed. Doesn’t get his way and throws a strop when he would “only” make money from 240k people.
Fair play to the local residents. Nice to see the “little people” listened to occasionally.

A variation from his interview on Six One where he said it was “like a funeral without a corpse”. I can’t believe he’d downplay it to such an extent.

The public bought enough tickets for 5 concerts, you do understand that right?
I will put your hypocrisy into context.
You moaned at the Munster Council for playing this wknd’s Munster Final in PUC, stating the public would not all get to see the match live. But Cork were entitled to the match = fair enough.
You see delight in a handful of moaning residents blocking 400,000 people from attending a Concert = fair enough.
Figure that one out.

I can figure it out.
He’s a joyless cunt.
Where as you, MBB, are just a cunt full stop.
Back on ignore.

You cant help yourself. There is nothing but hatred and bitterness in your heart. It will consume you in time. Of that there is no doubt. And all that you hated won’t even have been aware of your pathetic existence. I hope it will have been worth it.
You joyless joyless horrible cunt.
