You need Peter “Chap” Cleere. I’ve never heard of this fella, but I know because he goes by the name “Chap” that he likely looks and speaks like a half wit and will definitely be a “hup ya boy ya” merchant as he’s raised shoulder high. That’s what you need. You need the DNA.
You need people like Grainne Seoige. Doesn’t matter if she’s no experience, this is her DNA. She’s an expert. Make her Minister For Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht, three years of that then it’s off to Finance with her.

MLMD is up this week on the Virgin Media one-to-one leader’s interview with Colette Fitzpatrick. Si Harris got a right grilling last week & she’ll have plenty of ammunition to hit MLMD with. Starting shortly at 10pm.

As Yatesy says its the ground war that counts. Who has the ponies on the ground as he says and it looks like the Shinners have a load of duds, Fine Gael have a lot of watery enough characters and its Fianna Fail who are actually the strongest by far.

I think these leader interviews & debates potentially matter in that FG handlers have built their entire campaign around Harris himself & his apparent popularity (new energy). Trying to almost make it a presidential type popularity contest but if the tide starts to go out on Harris & people are left looking at these inexperienced candidates…then their poll numbers may be inflated. Or again this may be wishful thinking.

I think they’re going to lose a lot of seats and the general goodwill won’t be reciprocated at the polling booths…

The hard questions aren’t coming with an aggressive tone or they’re being framed in such a way to give Mary an out.
