You got me wondering there who has the record for most ever goals from direct free kicks. It turns out it’s a guy at Lyon called Juninho. I’d never heard of him but he won 7 Ligue 1s in a row for Lyon,who had never won one before he arrived.

He wasnt allowed take free kicks for Brazil whenever Roberto Carlos was playing, what a hateful prick Roberto Carlos was.

He was an incredible dead ball specialist, in all fairness probably the best. I don’t believe he played much for Brazil, iirc his game didn’t have a huge amount besides, well not on a Brazilian level anyway
