I never heard about this until now and my Dad would be from around there

1911, Flann O’Brien, Myles na Gopaleen, Brian O Nuallain was born. I first came across his work by an unusual route. I was reading one of those profiles in one of the rock weeklies of Phil Lynnott. Phil was asked Favourite Book and he answered the Third Policeman by Flann O’Brien. I bought a copy shortly after and found myself nodding in agreement with the Thin Lizzy frontman.
