Sid has burnt his bridges with this thread.
Impossible to believe anything he puts up in the future.

Today.

The famine ended.

All of Munster rejoiced.

They made it.

Homosexual marriage was made legal in Ireland this day last year. A dark day in our history. Proud to see no shirtlifters have tied the knot in Clare yet.

In 1980. Pac-man was released.

Conflicting reports some say 22nd of May some say 21st.

on this day 25 years ago the Tuzla Massacre occurred
at around 9pm a Bosnian Serb soldier fired a few shells into a civilain area of Tuzla for no apparent reason and killed 79 civilians. there were a few toddlers blown to pieces
Im not sure if too many people really knew about this or gave a shit, Tuzla is a mixed city in eastern bosnia and like Prijedor was on Mladic and Kradzic’s list for their 4th Reich, it was a peaceful enough place so they used their propaganda to stir up racial tension and hatred, The Bosnian serbs did and still do a lot of messed up things but claiming this was staged is up there.
im reading here about the ethnic clensing in Zvornik from 92-95, madness

32 years ago today Liverpool fans were the innocent victims of numerous gangs of vicious, knife wielding Roma supporters after the European Cup final.

On the pitch, there were no Liverpool victims as the European Cup’s greatest ever team won the competition for the fourth time in the home stadium of our opponents with a defiant and forever remembered performance.

“I Don’t Know What It Is, But I Love It.”

Have you read this mate, very good book

No but I think I will, mate.

Sad end to Phil Thompson’s Liverpool career, of a squad of 17 only 16 could tog out, Fagan stopped him from travelling to the match on the team bus.
