Once saw Fr Jack on one of those mountain climbers in the Total fitness gym in Sandyford. It was a bizarre sight given the life of debauchery he lead. I’m sure it would have received the approval of the adjudicators of the celebrity spotting thread at the time.

I like this thread. Sometimes I’m awfully hard on myself and sometimes looking back to my childhood and say to myself wasn’t I some little cunt. However with this thread whenever there’s something really major remembered I say to myself I was only aged 12 or 14 or whatever when that happened. I go easy on myself and say sure I was only a child really. Anyone else experience this ?

Ah you know what I mean. An event here would remind you of a particular summer or year or whatever and you’d look back and say sure I was only 10 or 11 or whatever that year. It’ll come to you too with age I suppose @Sidney.
