Bizarre that he wouldn’t wait an extra day before going on said holiday. He only left the morning of the Cork game if I remember correctly. A preliminary quarter-final which would’ve been flagged in the calendar from months out. Dan Bourke went out and gave a virtuoso performance the same day. I have a feeling Bourke will have the better inter-county career of the two starlets.
