Tommy Rooney is the best of OTB, he has a great way about him. He did a great interview with Kieran McGeeney as well. I really enjoyed this, Boylan just seems like an out and out gent.

I like Rooney. The football pod would be 100 times better though if they got rid of Andrews.

Correct. Rooney and JOD are excellent. Andrews is like a dose of scour.

Subbing him out and getting a good Nordie could push it towards Examiner football pod status

I haven’t listened to it myself but all I know is there’s a bright future ahead of Tommy Rooney if he keeps the head right.

Maybe somebody like enda mcginley

Johnny Giles is retiring. I haven’t heard him years but I’d say his time had come.

Old age is a bollocks.

Mr. Irish Football.

I’m just after flicking it on. I always enjoyed his analysis. He used to tell great yarns about his Leeds days and specific players. A legend of a man.

I absolutely fucking love Johnny Giles. Unconditionally. Young uns would’ve no idea how good a midfielder he was

He had a great appreciation for proper midfield players like Luka Modric.
