Other international games 6th september

@mickee22

Please set up a thread for today’s other international games.

Lukaku after putting Belgium 1-0 up after a horrible error from Perisic.

Belgium look very comfortable here but they are not a very aesthetically pleasing football side. They definitely have to be the most physically imposing international side I can remember seeing.

8 of the Belgian starting 11 are 6 ft 1 or over.

4 of the Belgian starting 11 are 6 ft 3 or over.

Mandzukic is such a vile footballer.

Belgium make it 2-0.

Lukaku again, think Belgium are going to draw a lot of ire from me during the next World Cup. They are just big bullying footballers, the footballers in their side (Hazard, De Bruyne and Defour) have actually done next to nothing so far as they have just swatted Croatia aside.

Croatia for their part look very bland, while they have some nice tidy midfielders they lack incision and quality in attack.

Austria lead Sweden!

Come on Zlatan!

Savic has had an excellent game thus far for Montenegro. England on top but it’s been all huff and puff with little in the way of decent openings.

Ukraine 1 up

Lovely.

Rooney blows a super chance after dreadful goalkeeping.

Are Spain playing a friendly this weekend?

1-1 in Stockholm.

Rooney gives England the lead.

Not a great defensive header from Savic and a poor parry from the keeper leave him with an opening from just outside the six yard box.

Not watching the Ireland game, pal?

Nah, pal.

Wales lead Macedonia.

We’re 2-0 down mate.

Forde and Stokes the only positives

Bit worried that Stokes is risking injury playing for the Free State when Ireland have a couple of big Champions League games coming up.

Ah right. Like recently when you watched Spurs-Chelsea instead of the Celtic game.

Looks like England will go into their final group game against Poland on top.
