A national centre of excellence of anything is always in dublin which is a balls. I agree specialises sports in different regions. Rowing seems to have naturally gotten a specific area in west cork to be a hub of world class athletes.

Championship running is different gravy. A lot of lads get pulled around to fast times in paced races. They struggle then in a non paced race.
