What kind of funding did we receive in comparison to horse beating?

We’ll end up with no track medal.

Very little talk about yerman Wiffen considering his exploits in the pool. I presume those ones he won in the world championships are also Olympic events?

If you’re clean you don’t win. If you win you aren’t clean.

Paul Howard is doing a weekly column on Irish Olympians. He did Darren Suntherland last week. Victor Costello this week. I enjoyed them both.

Darren was an awful loss to the boxing,I thought he could go all the way.

Was absolutely tragic, DeGale who was the furthest thing from likeable showed some class when he had DS initials stitched to his shorts when he won the IBF title and dedicated it to his old rival.

Yeah. Here is the article. It debunked a few lazy assumptions I had made about Darren. Very sad story and it seems that it could of been easily avoided.

Howard was a massive loss to sports writing in this country.

I doubt many golds will be won clean. That’s maybe just me, but it’s what I reckon. The euros looked pretty clean. Times were good but not great.

Bolt dirty?

Any chance you could copy paste?

I will in a bit but just put your phone on airplane mode and reopen and that should work. All irish times articles open that way

Defund horsey and doggy sports.

I’ve found the Euros very boring so far. Belgium v Slovakia was about the only game that engaged me. The Olympics will be a far and away superior watch.
