Weād have romped that heat with Adeleke. The other one was average fare with everyone running for 2nd after Amercians left them for dust but it didnt look very strong. Our baton exchange is seamless. Were probably gaining on the field there.

Mawdsley has a bit more in her I think too. The commentator was a bit worried 200m out as she weighed up her options of whether to take the all hands and elbows canadian runner on the inside or outside. But she has an incredible finish
Phil Healy and McGrory both ranked 7th out of their various legs while Becker and Mawdsley both were 1st. Adeleke back solves part of that but thatās the weak spot
Weāre probably looking at 4th but have a shot at third if tonight goes ok.

Anyway great to get to a sprint final at an Olympics. Its been a wonderful journey following this team.

I donāt agree with her choice of boyfriend but I respect itās her decision & it doesnāt make me admire her any less as an excellent athlete & wonderful person.
