Paris thread

The missus was on a flight out of Orly yesterday. It was like Def Con 2 there. One of the travelling party is a diabetic and had all her letters etc with her but still took the guts of an hour to get through security and explain need for sugary drinks etc.

Orly is always a disaster. It’s a bizarre airport. I came home out of there before after missing a flight

Must be horrific as some amount of Georgians claim asylum having arrived from there

Funnily enough she said two big immigration officers met the plane at the door and inspected all passports before people disembarked.
Your gym work must be paying dividends pal.

That explains all the military around tourist areas anyway

That’s been a thing for a while certainly immediately after the Bataclan.

I had to take my trousers off and let security see the scars for my knee replacement in Beauvais when I was over for the rugby match in 2016.

Serves you right for going to a rugby match

Look at that mental bastard of a roundabout

Many years ago, only days before Christmas, a French work colleague took a few of us for long drive through Paris.
Round the Arc and down the Champs Elysee at nighttime is just iconic. One of the best tourist trips I have ever had.
