On to the Metro about 7 and out to the Stade.

Jesus who pays that for a pint in Paris. A glass of beer will knock you back 2.50 to 3 in any of the cafs down the dodgy laneways around the Gare du Nord et Gare du L’est area.
Serious session outside O’Sullivans yesterday, 6.50 a bottle of Heineken and 7.20 a bottle of Smirnoff Ice, plenty of cheap offies around as well though.
Gare Du Norde is boring Ben, when you’re on a football trip you’re not going to be sitting in a train station cafe

I never said anything about sitting in a train station.
[FONT=Helv][SIZE=2][FONT=Helv][SIZE=2]But I’m talking about the area in general, there is nothing there bar a train station. It doesn’t have the dubious attractions of Pigalle.

In Paris now. Beautiful city, in fairness.
the grub is unreal, are you down around the 16th?
Non. I am in the 5th, mon ami. Up near the Latin Quartier.
If you want to saunter over to the 9th, I highly recommend Au General La Fayette on Rue La Fayette, close to the Folies Bergerre. Chicken Liver Pate and Confit of Duck are sensational, not too pricey.
I love Paris.
