Anybody in the newspapers telling people how well they are doing/making money is usually not making that much money at all and the newspaper article is a sales pitch.
He has a decent following on twitter - 50k plus. His twitter feed always tries to get clicks on to this website by linking content there and not on twitter. But if you look at his website he has Sam’s barber and Audi Cork as only advertisers.
So I reckon he is struggling to monetise the brand. Not saying he won’t and he did have a nice Audi car but as he has retired now his brand is going to diminish. Irish market is tiny so unless he can internationalise what he is doing…
